I'm taking economic statistics this quarter and it is teaching me shitloads of awesome information. For example, I now know that in EXCEL spreadsheets, if I press the down / right arrow keys (switching between the two) for the duration of the class, I end up in cell PVJ25862. Also, having access to a computer with internet reveals how dedicated a person is to learning the material from the professor's lecture. I can either browse the web or listen to him teach. Right now he's writing a bunch of letters on the board and talking about probability "defects between lightbulbs... six factorial times six minus two factorial...p is the probability of success...n minus x is the number of failures..."
Also, let's say we write out the fibonacci sequence to thirteen places (that's 233). I arranged a list of this sequence into a pie graph and then calculated the percent of each value. For example, 5 accounts for 5/609 = .821% Then I catalogued the highest percent for n places. n1 - n13 are as follows.
100%
66.6%
50%
45.5%
42.1%
40.6%
39.6%
bah! class is dismissed, I'm out...
